WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A HOME INSPECTION FOR A HOME BUYER? 

Plainly speaking, you will know what you are getting into. Buying a home or an apartment can be financially burdensome. However, imagine spending tens of thousands, or even more, to fix possibly hazardous conditions which you would otherwise not know about. During a home inspection, we look at small details which paint a larger picture of the home's history. After receiving your home inspection report, you will know so much more about your potential purchase, which will give you confidence in your decision.

You will know the true value of your property. As a seller, having your home inspected will leave you with confidence when negotiating that asking price. 

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A HOME INSPECTION BEFORE STARTING THE NEXT HOME IMPORVEMENT PROJECT OR A RENOVATION?

It's true that most homeowners increase their home's value by renovating. A home improvement project or renovation often increase's one's standard of living and feeling of comfort in their own home. However, many homeowners unknowingly neglect the important functional details, and focus too much on aesthetics. Although many Contractors have the knowledge to bring to the attention of their clients the functional defects of their homes, it is often the Contractors themselves who cause may of the defects found during our inspections. No matter how much you trust your contractor, it is never a bad idea to get a second opinion. A home inspection will bring you, the homeowner, the knowledge to get the best out of your home improvement project or renovation.

HOW LONG DOES AN INSPECTION TAKE?

The time it takes to inspect a home depends on the size.

Generally, a 2500 sq. ft. home may take 2.5 - 3 hours to inspect. A 1000 sq. ft. condominium may take 45 mins - 1 hour

WHAT IS THE COST OF A HOME INSPECTION?

The price we charge for a home inspection depends on the size of the home.

Generally, the price for condominiums less than 1000 sq. ft. is $200.

The price to inspect a home upto 1000 sq. ft. is $350.

The price to inspect a home between 1000 sq. ft. to 2500 sq. ft is $500.

CAN MY HOME BE INSPECTED WHEN FURNISHED AND OCCUPIED?

We find that we achieve the best results when homes are unfurnished and unoccupied during the inspection. This is because furniture and personal belongings sometimes obstruct is in viewing all aspects of the home. Home inspectors will not disturb personal belongings and move furniture. We also tend to not unplug appliances or electronics as to not create damage to them and to respect the personal space and privacy of people residing in the home. However, many of the inspections we perform are done so while the home is furnished and occupied.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO SEE IN MY INSPECTION REPORT?

Many of the homes we've inspected have the same typical defects. However, we sometimes see some very odd and interesting things to say the least. Please look at the SAMPLE INSPECTION REPORT section to see what we look for, and what we find.

HOW FAST CAN I GET MY HOME INSPECTION REPORT?

You will receive the full inspection report within 24 hrs. of the home inspection.
